Sarah Burnett - President at MontVue Capital Management
Sarah advises clients seeking a holistic approach to wealth management, working with individuals from diverse backgrounds who have built their success through hard work and determination. She helps clients define and pursue their investment goals while providing accountable, comprehensive financial planning at every stage of life. Before co-founding MontVue in 1999, Sarah developed her investment expertise as a securities analyst and portfolio manager with institutions including Wachovia Bank & Trust, Virginia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Services, CFB Advisory, and Davidson, Garrard & Goode. She is a 1981 graduate of the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in finance and management.



Anne Umbarger - Partner and CIO at MontVue Capital Management
Anne creates and manages customized diversified portfolios for MontVue’s clients, but her work extends far beyond investment strategy. Her purpose is to bring clarity to life’s most complex and chaotic financial moments, whether estimating retirement cash flow, organizing finances after a divorce or death, or navigating family dynamics in estate planning. These situations require trust, authenticity, and accessibility, and Anne’s attentive nature and sharp analytical skills help clients move confidently through challenging transitions. She co-founded MontVue in 1999 after serving in multiple roles at Davidson, Garrard & Goode, and is a 1996 graduate of the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with a Bachelor of Science in finance and management.
