Class on Situational Awareness and Basic Hand to Hand Self Defense

SITUATIONAL AWARENESS AND BASIC HAND TO HAND DEFENSE CLASS - This is a class geared for individuals and families who want to learn the edge it takes to survive. We'll talk for about an hour on "situational awareness" and how absolutely important it is. Topics include but are not limited to; where to sit in a restaurant, how to position your family when at the mall, movies, dinner or the park. How to approach a parking lot at night, the need to watch others and nearby exits. Tips on navigating a dark and smoky building during absolute chaos, and finally how to recognize a potential attack. Then the hands on begins! We'll get out the training knives and guns and teach you ways of defending against, grabs, chokes and hair pulling. (which are all three very common in violent attacks) We'll teach you basic strikes, punches and blocks! This two hour session could be one of the most important classes you may ever take! It's a series of "building block" classes being offered by Blue Ridge Martial Arts Academy and T4Tactics. Cost is $30 per person and discounts are available for couples and families.
