Communications Academy Part I (of 3 part series) - Communicating from the Inside Out

The Communication Academy, presented by Leadership Lynchburg, offers a series of three, four-hour professional communication sessions that are engaging, fun and enriching.

The Academy boasts one of the most sought after communications coaches in the world, Justin Patton. Justin is a coach to Fortune 500 companies. He managed the national sales training department for Anthem BlueCross BlueShield where he coached top sales performers on how to communicate with stronger impact. Additionally, Justin facilitated leadership and communication skills programs in Russia, Canada, and throughout the United States for Yum! University. After starting his own company, Justin was hired to teach the largest RGM leadership program in Taco Bell’s history and he is now a faculty member for the Institute of Organizational Management.

Part I -  Aug. 17 - Communicating from the Inside Out
Examine the 3 elements of a leader’s credibility
• Highlight the #1 way leaders hold themselves back
• Discuss how one’s energy impacts organizational trust & engagement
• Explore the 3 core levels of energy
                 
Part II - Sept. 20 - Navigating Difficult Conversations
• Discuss your go-to style when faced with difficult conversations
• Examine the neuroscience behind what makes conversations difficult
• Explore a conversational model on how to engage in better conversations that build trust and alignment
• Explore ways to managing up the organization effectively

Part III - Oct. 27 - Coaching for Performance and Accountability
• Discuss what coaching is and what it is not
• Demonstrate your ability to ask empowering questions
• Demonstrate your ability to listen to what’s not being said
• Demonstrate your ability to acknowledge & validate

Costs:
$125 per person for all 3 sessions or $50 per session
$275 for three people for all 3 sessions

Corporate Partner rate:  $900 and includes reservation for 6 people for all three sessions and publicity as a corporate partner.
Presenting Partner rate:  $3,000 and includes reservation for 10 for all three sessions and maximum visibility as the presenting partner.
