I Am Woman 5K Walk and Run
Run, walk and have fun! I Am Woman 5K Walk & Run is coming up soon!! Race Day is Saturday, October 29, and on-line registration is open at runsignup.com/Race/VA/Lynchburg/IAMWoman5K
Registration is $25 on-line through October 16, after that it is $30 on-line and $35 for race day registration. Sign up before Oct. 16 to ensure your Adidas moisture-wicking T-shirt. Teams of your friends and co-workers are also welcome!
Since we’re close to Halloween, you are welcome to dress in costume if you like. Halloween themed trophies will be given for top finishers!! We will have great music by the famous DJ, MADLAD, as well as live music on the route. There will be beautiful door prizes, great snacks, and hot chocolate and coffee if it’s chilly.
All proceeds from I Am Woman 5K will benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and go toward a new neonatal/pediatric ambulance for the babies and children of our local community.
